Man shoots knife-wielding criminal
Shots were fired in Lewiston after an alleged attempted robbery Friday night.
Police were called to 56 Birch Street around 8:30 p.m.
Police say two men with a knife tried to rob a 27-year-old man, but the victim defended himself with a .22 caliber handgun.
